In my experience English Pubs are pretty shit and not very authentic. An exception is the Tudor Arms in Stockholm if you are ever in the area.

German beer is very good compared to the shit lager that people drink, can’t compare their beer to our ale, tell me again why people like fizzy fosters and carling?

Redchurch make some very decent German-style beer. Local brewery too.

German beer and English beer are two different things.
Both good. But Englsih German-style beer is either not very good, or very overpriced.
Had fewer German English-style beers, but they haven't been very good either.
